Brief introduction

Since the first tea leaf was picked, three generations of our family have been writing stories about tea together. Rooted in our tea garden in the mountains of Nantou, Taiwan, we combine our deep love for the land with an unwavering dedication to tea. Every leaf carries our heritage, craftsmanship, and an innovative spirit shaped through time. We focus on one tea only—oolong—and devote ourselves to refining it to its fullest expression.

Our tea

We specialize in single-origin oolong tea, grown, harvested, and processed exclusively within our own estate. This ensures full traceability and consistent quality, allowing each tea to express the unique terroir—altitude, climate, and soil—of Nantou’s mountain environment.

Our estate

The name Fonglin (楓林) comes from the maple trees that grow throughout our estate. Nestled among the tea fields, these maples mark the changing seasons and have long been part of the landscape we farm and care for.

Located in the high mountains of Nantou, Taiwan, our estate benefits from cool temperatures, frequent mist, and mineral-rich soil—ideal conditions for cultivating oolong tea. Tended by our family, the land reflects a balance between nature and craftsmanship, where tea plants grow alongside native trees and the rhythm of the seasons shapes each harvest.
